Carmen Pearson undertakes most types of picture and frame restoration but she specialises in oils and gilding. Repairing or cleaning that family portrait or favourite landscape can often have dramatic effects. Restoration breathes fresh life into dull pictures and conserves them for years to come. Clients are often surprised that it can be quite affordable. Prices start from about £30 for small cleaning jobs up to several hundred pounds for major work.

Carmen will be very pleased to discuss your picture or frame restoration. She will provide an estimate free of charge and will give a detailed description of the work she expects to carry out. Sometimes after initial investigation further problems are revealed, but Carmen will always discuss these with you before proceeding.

She is based in Hertfordshire and is happy to travel within reason to visit clients.
